Resell it On Ebay ~ How to Make Money Selling E-Books

If You Are Tired of Constantly Shipping And Packaging Products, Paying Outrageous Customs Charges And Barely Breaking Even With The Products You Sell On eBay, Then Discover?

“The Secrets to Sellingthe Single Most Profitable Type of Product there is?And Keeping 100% of the Profit from Every Single Sale You Make!”

Dear Friend,

If you are just plain tired of dealing with stubborn and unreliable suppliers, paying way too much money for products to make any kind of significant profits, packing and shipping physical products and quite simply not making enough money, this letter is for you!

Because you are about to discover how to keep the profit from every single dollar your customers pay you and get rid of dealing with stubborn suppliers and shipping all together!

No packaging or shipping!

No dealing with stubborn overseas suppliers!

No paying outrageous shipping and customs charges just to get your hands on the products you want to sell!

No more making a measly 30% or 20% profit on every sale you make!

Not only are you about to find out how to get rid of some of the biggest problems related to running an eBay business, but you are about to find out how to sell and where to get the most profitable kind of products you can possibly sell on eBay.

So what kind products am I talking about? I am talking about digital information products!

But before I go into what digital information products are, here are just a few advantages to selling digital info products:

You keep 100% of the profit your customers pay you. That’s rights! Info products have a whopping 100% profit margin!

You don’t have to ship or pack anything, you can even have an automatic download link sent to your customers after every single sale you make (this sure beats spending hours each day packaging products and going to the post office).

You will never run out of stock! It’s that simple, since info products are digital all you have to do is upload it to the Internet and give your customers access to the download page!

You don’t need any storage space! No more boxes and packaging materials littering your whole house. You can store as many info products in your hard drive as you like.

No need to constantly look for and deal with suppliers! You can simply create your own info products or even easier: buy resell rights!

You don’t have to buy every single product you sell! With physical products, you must pay for every single item you sell, and this significantly eats away at your profits. Digital products on the other hand are free to create. And if you do buy resell rights, you only have to pay once!

Your customers get access to their purchases immediately, instead of waiting days or weeks for the products they just bought. Instant gratification!

You eliminate the single biggest reason people refuse to buy stuff online: paying too much for shipping charges.

And that is exactly why selling info products is a lot easier, hassle free, enjoyable, less time consuming and a lot more profitable than selling electronics, antiques, clothing and other physical products!

In fact, if you sell digital products on eBay instead of physical ones, you can easily have your whole eBay business automated! Because you will NOT have to package and ship anything, you can simply have automatic emails with download instructions sent to everyone that buys from you!

As easy as selling info products on eBay is, there are still some things you absolutely MUST learn in order to start selling info products successfully. And that is exactly what you'll learn in the...

Here is just a small sample of some of the things you will learn in the “eBay Info Profits” Guide:

The different types of information products you can easily sell and what to do in order to make them fetch a higher price.

How to find the most profitable eBay niches to sell your info products in.

A simple guide to easily selling your first extremely profitable info product on eBay using the new digital download rules!

How to sell your info products on eBay and get top dollar! And even how to make money with products when they don't sell!

A list of the best resale rights sources-- most are free! Exactly where to go to get resell rights to other people’s products for free and below wholesale.

How to advertise your new business for the most traffic and hits to your listings.

How to get others to help you sell more products. How to build your mailing list.

And much, much more!

The above list is just a small sample of all the things you are about to learn in “ReSell IT on eBay” Guide!

Remember: when you start selling information products on eBay, there will be no shipping, no packaging, no dealing with stubborn suppliers and no barely breaking even with barely profitable products?you will keep 100% of the profit of every sale you make! Now that’s profitable!

10 Critical Steps To e-business Safety

Web site and e-business security is a very sensitive issue. Some of the top brass in cyber-marketing have hired full time network wizards to work it out for them. Giants such as Microsoft have set up special network security courses just to resolve such issues.

If you had a brick and mortar business, you would be maintaining a regular schedule and time sheets to monitor your employees. Also you would be ensuring tight security by installing alarms, closed circuit monitoring (video cameras), electronic cards etc. Online too you need to monitor your 24 hour sales person...

- Is he really doing the job you want him to do?
- Is your eshop secure from the darker elements?
- Who and what are your customers doing?
- Where are they coming from?
- Does your business have any loop holes?
- Are your transactions safe etc?

Yes you need to set up all your bells, whistles, snooping devices and other security measures.
Here are 10 basic ‘must do' steps for small home based webmasters like you and me:

1. Trade mark all your slogans, logo, ultimate selling proposition etc. by putting a TM sign . This also gives you a touch of `class` and creates a brand image for you.

2. Put a Copyright notice and date (Copyright 2002 Your name) on all your creations, articles, sales letter, web pages etc.

3. Put a disclaimer - `use it at your own risk` clause for all your work- articles/ebook/website/at the end of ezine etc. This discourages those elements who are not capable of accepting responsibility for their actions and need to pin it else where.

4. On all outgoing auto-responder messages – put the ‘this is an autoresponse' clause to avoid any spam complaints. For I have experienced that in the rush to grab something free, some people will keep sending several emails to auto-responders instead of waiting patiently for response to arrive. Then of course, the basic autoresponder sends them an equal number of responses.

5. Make your ezine/ list double opt in - state this right at the top, also let them know that confirmation e-mail and computer IP address is on record. If you want to be even more secure, tell them that any false spam complaints will be prosecuted and damages will be claimed due to downtime- this will discourage any ‘happy-go-lucky' individuals whose sole purpose in life is to mess it up for hard working, down to earth, honest people.

6. Monitor your website statistics – usually your webhost should enable raw statistics, but any good sitemeter should be able to provide this information:- Who is visiting your website?- Where are they coming from?- How much time they are spending?- Which pages they are clicking to?- And whole lots more.Again this is very essential.

7. Track Your links - This is the single most important factor that can give an instant boost to your advertising efforts. you need to know:- Which ads are pulling?- Where are your buying customers coming from?- How many files/ebooks/software are being down loaded from your site?- Who is clicking on your links – IP address of your clients?- How much traffic you are sending to some one?Any good link tracker should be able to provide this information.

8. Keep tabs on your web-host`s performance – You need to know:- When your website went offline?- When it came back up?- How many hours it was un-accessible?- How many seconds did your page take to load up?Here you may use the services of http://www.internetseer.com

9. Broken link monitoring - broken links can- Create a bad image/impression about you in your customers minds.- Affect your search engine ranks.- Impact your business negatively. You may check these out using http://www.jimtools.com/ here click on the ‘link' button at page top.

10. Who's linking to you – Again if your webhost enables raw statistics, finding this will not be a problem – you can even find who is linking directly to your e-book downloads etc. Otherwise you may use:

http://www.linkpopularity.com/
http://www.jimtools.com/ - and click on the ‘link' button at page top.

10 Costly Search Engine Mistakes to Avoid

If you have a website then you already know the importance of traffic. Traffic is to Internet marketing as location is to real estate. It's the only thing that really matters. If you cannot generate targeted visitors to your site, you will not make any sales.

Usually the owner or designer of the website is the person designated to drive traffic to the site. The chief ingredient in generating traffic is the search engine. Of coarse, you can use advertising, but it's going to cost you. Using the search engines to generate targeted (interested in your product) traffic is the least expensive method known.

Unfortunately, many website owners do not understand the importance of search engine visibility, which leads to traffic. They place more importance on producing a "pretty" website. Not that this is bad, but it is really secondary to search engine placement. Hopefully, the following list of common mistakes, made by many website owners, will help you generate more targeted traffic to your site...after all, isn't that what you want.

1. Not using keywords effectively.

This is probably one of the most critical area of site design. Choose the right keywords and potential customers will find your site. Use the wrong ones and your site will see little, if any, traffic.

2. Repeating the same keywords.

When you use the same keywords over and over again (called keyword stacking) the search engines may downgrade (or skip) the page or site.

3. Robbing pages from other websites.

How many times have you heard or read that "this is the Internet and it's ok" to steal icons and text from websites to use on your site. Don't do it. Its one thing to learn from others who have been there and another to outright copy their work. The search engines are very smart and usually detect page duplication. They may even prevent you from ever being listed by them.

4. Using keywords that are not related to your website.

Many unethical website owners try to gain search engine visibility by using keywords that have nothing at all to do with their website. They place unrelated keywords in a page (such as "sex", the name of a known celebrity, the hot search topic of the day, etc.) inside a meta tag for a page. The keyword doesn't have anything to do with the page topic. However, since the keyword is popular, they think this will boost their visibility. This technique is considered spam by the search engines and may cause the page (or sometimes the whole site) to be removed from the search engine listing.

5. Keyword stuffing.

Somewhat like keyword stacking listed above, this means to assign multiple keywords to the description of a graphic or layer that appears on your website by using the "alt=" HTML parameter. If the search engines find that this text does not really describe the graphic or layer it will be considered spam.

6. Relying on hidden text.

You might be inclined to think that if you cannot see it, it doesn't hurt. Wrong... Do not try to hide your keywords or keyword phrases by making them invisible. For example, some unethical designers my set the keywords to the same color as the background of the web page; thereby, making it invisible.

7. Relying on tiny text.

This is another version of the item above (relying on hidden text). Do not try to hide your keywords or keyword phrases by making them tiny. Setting the text size of the keywords so small that it can barely be seen does this.

8. Assuming all search engines are the same.

Many people assume that each search engine plays by the same rules. This is not so. Each has their own rule base and is subject to change anytime they so desire. Make it a point to learn what each major search engine requires for high visibility.

9. Using free web hosting.

Do not use free web hosting if you are really serious about increasing site traffic via search engine visibility. Many times the search engines will eliminate content from these free hosts.

10. Forgetting to check for missing web page elements.

Make sure to check every page in your website for completeness, like missing links, graphics, etc. There are sites on the web that will do this for free.

This is just a few of the methods and techniques that you should avoid. Do not give in to the temptation that these methods will work for you. They will do more harm than good for your website.

Not only will you spend weeks of wasted effort, you may have your site banned from the search engines forever. Invest a little time to learn the proper techniques for increasing search engine visibility and your net traffic will increase.

10 Key Steps To Joint Venture Setup And Long Term Success

The goal of this article is to show you how to start and maintain a successful Joint Venture Program. 1. Choosing Good Partners One of the keys to a successful JV is to pick high quality and high traffic sites with which to partner. In this case, and below, we will be using the example of selling an Ebook that you have created. The topic of this particular Ebook is "Bass Fishing." An easy way to find potential JV partners is to go to Google and type in the top three terms related to your topic. In our example we type in "Bass fishing" Large mouth Bass and Small mouth Bass. With the size of the Internet, and the searching capabilities of Google, you can write your Ebook on almost any subject and find a large list of websites that cover it. I suggest starting with a group of 50 sites, total, with which to work. 2. Choosing Quality Sites Look for Quality growing sites within your niche market. Once you get a list of sites (I suggest you break them down into groups of five) you should then go to www.Alexa.com and download their toolbar. Check each site's overall growth rate and use the "wayback" feature to get an idea about how much work they have put into the site. Do not be surprised if there is no data available in a number of the categories; Alexa measures growth rates of only the most rapidly growing sites. You want to find the highest traffic growth sites possible. Out of your first five sites pick the top two growth sites and put them to the side for future use. Take the other three sites and, using the downloadable Google tool bar (http://toolbar.google.com), find out the page rank of the sites. If the page rank is lower than five I suggest putting them into your "To contact later pile" If the page rank is five or higher put them into your contact file. 3. Contacting Smaller Sites First Contact the smaller slower growing sites first. The reason I suggested, putting the top two growth sites out of each five to the side is because you are much more likely to get a JV and reciprocal link from a smaller site when you are first starting out. Once your site has reached a page rank of five or above AND with at least 10+ back links to quality sites you can then contact the bigger sites. Lets face it, not only do the sites that sell your Ebook want to make a percentage of each sale, they also want to increase their PR ranking and number of quality linking partners. If you go to the bigger sites on day one you are much more likely to get a "no" than if you build your site rankings and links first. Big sites, above all, don't want to have their rankings go down. So really do your JV homework and linking prior to contacting them. (OK I am finished preaching about that!) 4. Writing a Professional Contact Letter. One of the keys to a successful JV is to prepare a professional contact letter that clearly states the benefits (percentage of sale) that the JV partner will receive. Another key point to state is how many sites you are linked with and their average page ranking. (Remember: five or above). It is imperative that you make your letter short, concise and clearly stating the benefits to them. This is also the time to mention the fact that you will provide the partner site with all the necessary ad copy, pictures, banners and ongoing emails that they will need to promote your product so they can get paid. Before contacting the JV partner you will also want to set up an affiliate program through www.shareasale.com or www.clickbank.com. My point is: the simpler you make things for the JV partners the more positive responses you will have. 5. Making A Show of Good Faith. It is a very good idea prior to contacting potential JV partners to create a link on your site to the potential partner's site. Try to use their logo or links they have already created. If there is a copyright notice on the site, create a test-based ad instead. Once you set up the link, preferably on your partner's page or home page at the bottom, you should contact each site. See our www.Home-Business-Success.biz site for an example. 6. Follow up Follow up Follow up. It is extremely important to follow up until you get a definite answer, yes or no. I suggest that you give the prospective JV site a call the day after you send the email. One thing to remember also is that with spam filters today some of your emails will get filtered out. When you call do not be totally shocked to hear they did not receive your email. If they did not receive the email ask them if you can send a copy of the email to them immediately. Give them your email address and ask them to add it to their address book so future emails will not be blocked. 7. Notification of Sales Set up an automated email to notify the JV when they make a sale. It always blows my mind that people don't do this. Think about it, if you got a short email every time you made a sale for someone you are JV partnered with, wouldn't it motivate you even more to sell the product? I look forward to opening my email and seeing how many sales I made. It is like Christmas every day! Please do not overlook this simple but important and effective way to motivate your JV partners. Jeff wrote an excellent article on this specific topic which is listed on our website under "Jeff's Opinion". It is a great read and contains valuable information. I suggest you check it out. 8. Praise Where Praise Is Due When your JV partner makes their first sale, email them and congratulate them. This is an excellent time to introduce new products for additional ventures as well as a great opportunity to make some suggestions about placement of your ad. Both of you would benefit even more from your ad being placed in the upper left of the JV partners' website. This is one of the top 3 grossing areas in which to put and ad. Your JV partner might not be as knowledgeable in some areas as you are, so go ahead ask for better positioning and assist them with any relatively quick tasks that you can to help them get more traffic. 9. Starting a Newsletter For Your JV Partners. This is an excellent tool for introducing new products. You can also use this tool to form competition between your JV partners to see who can sell the most of your products. It is also a great idea to include any new partner sites in your newsletter. This will help motivate the new JV partners. A newsletter is great for building a sense of community. When preparing the newsletter try to include at least one article about Internet marketing, one on your niche area, one listing any current specials, one listing new products you are selling for other people/sites and finally one open area for facts, questions, and suggestions from your JV partners. Remember, the more you involve your JVs and include them in decisions, the more they will want to sell your products. Post issues of the newsletter on a page in your site. The more content you have about your niche area the better. Also include any testimonials from both clients and JV partners. Please remember: high quality content is king! People need a reason to keep coming back to your site. Provide them with new articles at least every two weeks. If 100% necessary, you can go to a site such as www.isnare.com and find free articles to use on your website. I strongly suggest, however, that you write as many articles as you can yourself. JV partners like to read what you are all about. You can submit your article to sites such as www.Articlecity.com for more traffic and the search engines love content - the more high quality the better. 10. Contacting Larger Sites. Once your page rank is over 5 and you have 10+ linking partners you are ready to contact the bigger sites. You should adjust your JV request letter to reflect the successes you have had since you started your site. Include links in the letter to your JV newsletter page as well as your testimonial page. Be prepared to pay super-affiliates a higher percentage of each sale. The volume of traffic that the site brings you should make up the lost percentage. For example, if you pay your smaller site JV partners 40%, be prepared to pay the large sites at least 50%. A good incentive for the larger sites is a sliding scale JV partnership, such as: for the first 100 of your Ebooks that they sell they get 50%, for the next 150 they get 55% and so on. The key is volume of sales. 10A Always ask for backlinks. www.H-B-S.biz is currently looking for high quality JV partners for both products and link exchange.
Please contact us at steve@Home-Business-Success.biz if your page rank is 5 or above. We invite niche sites even if not in the Home Business area. If your PR is not five or above but you have some awesome products, we can still cross-sell products. I am not meaning to be rude, but please no contact from link farms. We will not exchange links with you. Now get out there and kick some butt! You can do it! If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact me at steve@Home-Business-Success.biz

$75000 Time Management Secret

Are you drowning in email? Is your mind filled with anxiety over an increasing number of tasks? Each day that you put off accomplishing the tasks and assignments that are yours, creates more pressure for the next day, and the day after that.

Time management is a hot topic on the internet. The Overture search term suggestion tool indicated as of May 2003 that over 34,000 individuals were searching the keyword phrase time management. Experts predict that Overture is only capturing about 2% of the total searchs. This means there is a potential of approximately 1.5 million people daily searching for help with time management. Mind you this is only the tip of the iceberg. These are the individuals possibly seeking help! Many might feel they don't EVEN have enough time to seek assistance!

I'm going to share with you a time management strategy that is the GRANDFATHER of time management strategies. This original technique sold for $25,000 nearly 70 years ago to top management. It was highly prized.

It will work for you, if you put as much energy into using it, as you would if you just paid $25,000 for it, or closer to $75,000 if you account for inflation.

Bethlehem Steel was willing to pay the amount in order to increase the productivity of their company. They consulted with Mr. Ivy Lee.

Lee's advise?

"All you need to do, advised Mr. Lee, is take a pad of paper, this evening, and list the most urgent projects which confront you. Then, study the list and number them, assigning number one to the most important job, number two to the next most vital, and so on down the list.

Beginning tomorrow, tackle number one and stay on it until it is finished before you move on to number two. Work on down the list. When the day is through, prepare a new list, again assigning top priority to the most important task still undone and so on down the list. Do this everyday." (University of Success, Og Mandino, pg. 219)

Of course it is up to you to make your list every single day. Why not try this $75,000 technique for one week. I'd love to hear about your success. (Donald@spiritualjava.com)

Blogging for Fun and Profit

A blog is an online version of diary where people write and display almost anything - their opinions, photos, jokes, thoughts for the day and more. People also share stories about their pets, their passion for soccer, stamps... the limit is only your imagination!

In the last few years, blogging has emerged to become a much more meaningful activity than simply maintaining a personal diary. People use it to advertise their products and services, in fact, quite a number of companies even create their online presence by using a blog instead of a website.

Create Your Own Blog

Starting a blog is free. You can create one at http://www.blogger.com/ - a free service from Google Inc. You don't need to register a domain name or buy hosting. When you sign up at Blogger, everything happens online. Your blog will be hosted by Blogger and you get an URL like http://yourdomain.blogspot.com/. You simply log in to your account and start to write. This is much easier and cheaper than buying your own domain and hosting, then hiring someone to do the web design, writing and coding.

Another free blogging service available online is WordPress which is also very popular and easy to use. WordPress supports more features than Blogger while allowing you to customize your blog with various plug-in. You can check it out at http://wordpress.org/.

Monetize Your Blog

While blogging for your own interest, you can in fact maximize the potential of your blog for many marketing or commercial purposes.

The quickest and easiest way to turn a blog into a money-making enterprise is to include advertising on your blog. This can be done with contextual ad programs like Adsense - an advertising program by Google. Basically, you get paid when people click on the ads displayed on your website or blog. Google Adsense program is free to sign up. You can visit http://www.google.com/adsense to learn more about the rules and guidelines of the program. Other Adsense type ads that you can use for blog monetizing are SearchFeed, AdBrite, and Yahoo's Publisher’s Network (YPN).

Affiliate program is another potential way to make money blogging. By focusing on the subject of your blog post, you can promote relevant products from cost per sale affiliate programs like ClickBank and Amazon. You can write a review about the product or service with your affiliate links embedded inside so you get the commission whenever a sale is made.

"Confessions Of A Zine-O-Holic"

My name is Jo and I'm a zine-o-holic. Ya know, I tell myself, "I can handle this problem. I'll just read one ezine, maybe two and then I'll stop." That might last a day or two. But before you know it, I feel the urge come over me and I'm back to reading 15-25 ezines a day. Not the cheap stuff either. The solid-content, benefit-laden stuff. Yeah, we all have our reasons for being here. Some of you get your kicks with the free ads. Some of you are like me; you enjoy reading ezines and the information they provide. Some of us get this stuff in our inbox. Some of us go to websites to get our fix. It doesn't matter. We have to face the fact that we're hooked on zines.

We can't blame it on the publishers. Sure, they offer this stuff for free. They come up to us and say, "Hey, I got some good zine. Great articles, free promotional tools. I can be your best friend. All ya gotta do is subscribe." What they don't tell you is before long you're hooked. You get a taste of one good ezine and before you know it, you're back out there; desperately trying to find another one to subscribe to.

I never thought I would end up like this. I was raised in a good family. Go to school, get a solid education and then go to work for someone else. And I did just that for a while.

I thought I had a happy life. Then it happened. To this day, I don't know how. I got into Internet marketing and that's when everything changed.I started out innocently enough. Probably just like you. Fell for a few get-rich-quick scams. Wasted my time; wasted my money. But I got through that and thought I was gonna be okay…until I discover ezines. Then there was no turning back.

It's the same story; I'm sure you can relate to it. I subscribed to a couple of ezines. I started reading articles by Terry Dean, Rick Beneteau, Terri Seymour, Michael Southon…there are others out there; but we know who I'm talking about. I learned what it took to be successful in Net marketing. Before you know it, I wanted more. I couldn't get through the day without reading a few ezines.

I unsubscribed to the ezines that had nothing but ads. That gave me the feeling that I was in control. But, my friends, we know how false that feeling is. I was still hooked on the good ones.

To make matters worse, I started earning an income working at home. I'm just minding my own business. Reading ezines; learning from ezines; applying what I'm learning. Money starts coming in. You think you have your life planned and something like this happens. I don't know what to tell you. I never saw it coming.

My friends say I've changed. I'm more self- confident; I'm happier; I'm more positive about life. They just don't understand and I can't tell them my secret.

I thought I could control the problem by shutting down my computer. I realize now that I was just in denial. Before long I was sneaking into the office. I'd tell myself, "Just one ezine. I'll just read one." An hour later, dinner hadn't been cooked and the litter box hadn't been cleaned. I was off and running. Lost in the world of ezines. With trembling fingers, I would turn off the computer. But I knew the truth; I wanted more.

I don't know what the answer is. Just when you think you're in control, you find another ezine to subscribe to. Even if you're particular about what you read and don't like the cheap stuff, there's always one more good ezine out there calling your name.

Well, that's my story. Thanks for letting me share. I won't tell you I'll ever be cured. The truth of the matter is I don't want to be cured. I'll just have to take it one ezine at a time.
